London-wide
Removals across London, made straightforward.
A two-bedroom flat in Maida Vale and a two-bedroom flat in Nine Elms are almost nothing alike to move out of. We plan around the building, not the bedroom count.

Why we work this way
The building decides the day
Most London removals firms organise themselves by borough. It is a reasonable instinct and it is not very useful, because the postcode tells you where the property is rather than what it will let you do.
What actually governs a London move is the fabric of the building and the rules attached to it: how the staircase turns, whether the lift takes a mattress, what the managing agent requires in writing, and whether the front of the house is protected by listing.
So this site is organised by property type. Find the building you are leaving and you will find the constraints that matter, described honestly rather than glossed over.

Where we work
All of it
North, south, east, west and central. All thirty-two boroughs and the City. Inside the North and South Circular and out to the M25, along every tube, Overground, DLR and Elizabeth line corridor.
Several boroughs and towns in this network have their own dedicated local sites with street-level knowledge, and where one of them serves your address better than we would, we will point you to it. This site exists to cover the capital as a whole and to answer the question that a borough page rarely does — what your particular kind of building requires.
What we do
Six services
- House and home removals Whole-home moves anywhere in the capital, surveyed against the building rather than the bedroom count.
- Flat and apartment moves From a fourth-floor conversion with no lift to a managed block with a booked service lift — two very different jobs.
- Family-home moves Larger households with more floors, more accumulation and a school run that cannot be interrupted.
- Packing and unpacking Full or fragile-only, with purpose-made cartons and a labelling system that matches the new floor plan.
- Storage Sealed, inventoried containers for the gap between completions — which in London is most chains.
- Long-distance from London Out of the capital to anywhere in mainland Britain, as a direct load or a shared one.
Questions
Questions about moving in London
The full list is on the FAQ page — or just ask us.
Do you cover the whole of London?
Yes — north, south, east, west and central, all thirty-two boroughs and the City. This site is organised by property type rather than by borough, because in London the building tends to decide the job more than the postcode does.
Why organise by property type?
Because a mansion flat in Maida Vale and a new-build apartment in Nine Elms are both "a two-bedroom flat in London" and are almost nothing alike to move out of. One has a period lift too small for a mattress and a residents’ committee; the other has a service lift and a booking sheet. Knowing which you have tells us more than the postcode.
What is the most common thing that goes wrong?
An item that will not come down the stairs. In a period terrace the limiting dimension is the diagonal across the winder at the turn, not the width of the flight. We measure that at the survey against your largest pieces, so the conversation happens with time to act on it.
Will you take a window out to get something through?
Not from a listed building — altering protected fabric without consent is a criminal offence, not a technicality. In an unlisted property it is occasionally possible with the owner’s agreement and a specialist. More often the honest answer is that the item does not go.
Do you handle the building paperwork?
Yes. Notifying the freeholder or managing agent, booking the lift and loading bay, and supplying proof of public liability cover are all normal parts of a London move and all of them take lead time. We do that correspondence rather than leaving you to find out about it on the morning.
Do you move out of London as well as within it?
Yes — long-distance to anywhere in mainland Britain, as a direct or shared load. European moves we can arrange, though the route-pair detail for individual countries lives on other sites in this network and we will point you to whichever fits.
Next step
Tell us about the building
Send us both addresses, the floor at each end and a photograph of the staircase. That is genuinely more useful than a room count, and it is where an accurate quote starts.
